COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

As residents of the community we serve, our attorneys believe it is imperative to “give back” to the community in every way possible. We believe that any improvement and assistance to the community, either directly or indirectly, also provides assistance to the lives and businesses of our clients as well. We believe that involvement in our community is a “responsibility”, as we truly believe in the saying: “To whom much is given, much is expected”.

As a whole, our firm is a Silver Partner of the Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce, making an annual commitment for the betterment of Wayne County’s businesses and citizens. The firm also contributes annually to a number of local organizations in an attempt to assist others in need. In addition, each of our attorneys also has a diversified history of community service as shown below:

Bob Bever

Has served 25 years on the Board of Directors for the local Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, having also served as its Chairman; he currently also serves on the Board of Directors, as Secretary, for Forest Hills Country Club – where he has also been President; and the Board of Directors for the Richmond Area Y.M.C.A. He is also active in local politics, serving on the Wayne County Republican Committee, where he has been a former County Chair for the party. His past services include being a member of the boards for Junior Achievement of Eastern Indiana; the Wayne County Historical Museum; Leadership Wayne County, and Central United Methodist Church. He also donates his time in service as attorney for other community organizations, including H.E.L.P. the Animals, Golay Community Center, and the Model T Ford Club of America. Bob also remains active with local sports, through his long time holding of All Sports Tickets with Richmond Senior High School, and as a member of Red Devil Pride.

Presently serves on the Board of Advisors to Indiana University East and its Chancellor, and on the Art Advisory Committee for I.U. East Campus; he has served on the Board of Directors of the Richmond Symphony Orchestra, the Richmond Art Museum, and Starr-Gennet Foundation for jazz heritage; as past president of the Indiana University Alumni Association of Wayne County, Indiana; and as the Wayne County Judges Representative on the Child Protection Team. Rick is presently serving on The Exhibition Committee of the Richmond Art Museum.
