ESTATE PLANNING & ADMINISTRATIVE

We at BBFCS recognize that estate planning means more than simply preparing a Last Will and Testament and disposing of your assets at death with a minimum amount of taxation.

Complete estate planning means, in addition, that planning must provide for administration and protection of assets during lifetime and what to do in the event of incapacity or a disabling illness during lifetime.

A complete estate plan should contain a Last Will and Testament, a Durable Power of Attorney for financial affairs, and a Health Care Power of Attorney responsible for health care decision making. The plan may also contain a Living Will or other advance directive giving instructions concerning the type of care one wishes to receive in the event of a terminal illness. In some instances a Revocable Living Trust may be appropriate as well.

Our attorneys are well versed in these areas of a complete estate plan.
