Christopher (Chris) Armour is an Ohio native who moved to Richmond in 2021. After graduating from high school in Fulton, New York in 1985, he attended The Ohio State University on a full Air Force ROTC Scholarship. He graduated from OSU in 1990 with a BS in Aviation, and soon after embarked on a 22+ year military career. Chris had a variety of postings in the military that included operations and logistics positions. He began his military career as a Supply/Fuels Officer at Grissom AFB in Kokomo, Indiana. He then moved into operations where he spent the remainder of his career as an Air Battle Manager in both flying (E-3 AWACS) and non-flying positions. In addition to Grissom AFB, he was assigned to Langley AFB, Virginia, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma, Osan AB, Republic of Korea, Mountain Home AFB, Idaho and many temporary assignments throughout the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Afghanistan. Chris retired from the Air Force in August 2012 and began law school the same month.
Chris attended Concordia University School of Law in Boise, Idaho, graduating cum laude in August 2015 with a Juris Doctor degree. His law school activities and associations included the Federalist Society, Student Bar Association, Family Advocates CASA/GAL, and Idaho Trial Lawyers Association. Chris interned with the Idaho Supreme Court (Court of Appeals) in 2015 as well.
After law school, Chris and his wife took an adventurous leap, buying Southfork Lodge in the remote mountains of the Boise National Forest in Idaho. They operated the lodge until 2020 when they sold it and moved back east to be closer to family. Chris passed the Indiana Bar Exam and was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 2023. His practice areas include Family Law, Criminal Law, Real Estate, and Estate Planning and Administration.
Chris’s met his wife Beth while serving in the Air Force. Beth is an East Grand Forks, Minnesota native and works in the local community as a Pharmacy Technician. They have two adult sons, Brandon (33) and Peter (28) and three grandchildren.
